Surprising butter, very surprising. You want that anyway. To start right away with a smashing starter. That’s these two butters. A sweet and a savory version. Complementary.

Ingredients

  • Harissa butter
  • 1 shalot

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 150 gram plant based butter

  • 1 table spoon red harissa (see recipe elsewhere on the site or use ready-made harissa)

  • Apricot cardamom butter
  • 7 dried apricot

  • 1,5 table spoon ground cardamom

  • 7 table spoon powdered sugar

  • 150 gram plant based butter

Cooking time

  • Harissa butter
  • Mix all ingredients well in the food processor. Store the butter in a sealed plastic bag. Then serve with a piping nozzle or cut nice slices of the butter.
  • Apricot cardamom butter
  • Cut the apricots into strips. And then add all the ingredients to the food processor. Then serve with a piping nozzle or cut nice slices of the butter.
