Sweet onion soup

minutesI was never much of a soup maker, but in recent years I have become an avid soup maker. Soup can be so delicious. So warming, so surprising, so comfort food. You know onion soup, but this is a great Arabic variation.
Ingredients
50 gram plant based butter
50 ml olive oil
3 Onions
2 table spoon balsamic vinegar
2 table spoon dark brown sugar
500 ml vegetable broth
1 sprig Rosemary
1 bay leaf
1 table spoon worcestershire saus
1 Lemon
salt and pepper
preparation
- Melt the butter with the olive oil in a pan that will fit the soup. Add the sliced onions and fry them gently until brown. Add the sugar, vinegar and stir well. Let them caramelize for 15 minutes and then add the stock. Add the bay leaf, rosemary and Worcestershire sauce. Now let it heat through and pour in the lemon juice. Salt and pepper.
