minutesLima beans are so incredibly versatile, and they always bring big smiles to my face. In these mini burgers, they are a wonderful foundation for a tasty spicy snack. That’s how it was made. And to serve with any sauce of course. Also with a sweet one, by the way.
Ingredients
1 jar/tin lima beans
3 cloves garlic
100 gram flour
0,5 table spoon pul biber
0,5 table spoon cumin, paprika, turmeric of each
salt and pepper
sunflower oil
- Paprika sauce
2 shallots
10 cloves garlic
3 fresh red peppers
4 table spoon sugar
3 red peppers
olive oil
Cooking time
- Mix all the ingredients, except the sunflower oil, in a food processor. Season with salt and pepper
Let it rest in a bowl for a while. - Cut the shallots, red pepper and garlic into fine pieces and fry gently brown in olive oil.
Add the chopped bell pepper and fry them with the lid on the pan until it is completely soft.
Add the sugar and let it melt for a while and stir well.
When everything is completely soft, you can puree it with the immersion blender.
Bring it to taste with salt and pepper. - Heat a small layer of sunflower oil in the pan. Make small burgers out of your lima bean mixture. When the oil is hot enough, you can fry them crispy and brown on both sides in a few minutes.
- Serve on a bed of paprika puree.
