Of course, Brussels sprouts don’t really need anything. They are so horribly delicious in themselves. Anyway, sometimes you want to give them something extra festive. And that’s what we do here.

Ingredients

  • 600 gram Brussels sprouts (clean)

  • 250 gram shallots

  • 100 ml dry sherry

  • 300 ml Plant-based cooking cream

  • Margarine for baking

  • salt and pepper

Cooking time

  • Cook the brussel sprouts until they are al dente.
  • Finely chop the shallots and fry them in the margarine until soft and brown. This can take at least 20 minutes. If not longer. If that’s the case, you can pour the sherry on the side. Let this boil for 5 minutes.
  • Then add the cream and salt and pepper.
  • Spoon the sprouts onto a nice platter and pour the sauce over them.
