Baked potatoes deliciously smeared all around with harissa, homemade or from a tube. And then drizzle with tahini/soy sauce, chives and sesame seeds. Potatoes prepared in one of the most delicious ways. The picture speaks for itself, right?

Ingredients

  • 2 kilo potatoes

  • 3 table spoons harissa (look for home made harissa the recipe on this site)

  • 0,5 bouquet chives

  • 60 gram tahina

  • 2 table spoons soy sauce

  • 2 table spoons maple syrup

  • 4 table spoons white and black sesame seeds

  • salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Cut the peeled potatoes into cubes. Mix it very well with the harissa. If you are using harissa from a tube, you may need to add some olive oil. Heat the oven to 240 degrees. Place the potatoes side by side on a dish or baking tray and cover with aluminum foil. Bake the potatoes for 30 minutes.
  • After those 30 minutes, remove the aluminum foil, toss the potatoes well and let them bake for another 30 minutes. Prick it with a fork or knife to know if the potatoes are really cooked. Otherwise, you will have to leave them in the oven for a little longer.
  • For the sauce, mix the tahina, soy sauce and maple syrup.
Remove the potatoes from the oven. Drizzle the potato with some of the sauce, the chives and the sesame seeds.
