Ingredients
275 gram chick pea flour
1 tl Baking powder
5 table spoon olive oil
0,5 tl salt
3 table spoon za’atar
Cooking time
- Stir the chick pea flour. 3 tablespoons of olive oil, baking powder and salt and turn it into a smooth dough. Add 100 ml warm water. Don’t mix it too long, the dough should be a bit airy. When it all comes nicely togeter , you can wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for 45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven at 180 degrees. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place a sheet of baking paper on the dough and roll it out into a thin sheet of no more than 3 mm. Not thicker or your crackers won’t get crispy.
Place the dough in the baking tray and cut triangles in it. Drizzle the dough with olive oil and then sprinkle the za’atar over it. - Place the baking tray in the oven and bake the crackers for 20 minutes. Not longer.
