Green asparagus with an Arabic twist to it

minutesGreen asparagus with an Arabic twist. The harissa together with the zest of the lemon and the vegan honey, give a totally new taste to this well known vegetable. Really worth it.
Ingredients
16 green asparagus
2 lemons
harissa
vegan honey
olive oil
salt and pepper
preparation
- Take off the zest of the lemon with a special scraper or a thin slicer. Then press the juice out of the lemon. If you do this first the lemon is too soft to scrape.
- Mix the zest, the lemon juice, the 4 table spoons harissa and the vegan honey well in a bowl. Take off the bottoms of the green asparagus en put them in a platter.
- Pour in the lemon/honey sauce and leave it to work together for 45 minutes at room temperature.
- Preheat a thick bottomed pan. Pour in the olive oil and fry the green asparagus. In the mean time warm the marinade/sauce in a different pan.
Once fried (asparagus) and warm (sauce) you can pour the sauce over the asparagus on a plate. Serve warm.
