minutesThis light salad is a picture perfect and delicious on a nice summer day. Fruit is always a great addition to a salad and in this case as well. This salad consists of only a few ingredients but that’s perfectly okay. It’s full if taste and lovely for lunch or as a side dish.
Ingredients
3 pears
2 hand fulls fresh spinach and romaine lettuce
1 small radicchio
2 table spoons lemon juice and olive oil
salt and pepper
preparation
- For this salad you can choose from several combinations of soft lettuces, the ones that you prefer. I love the bitterness of radicchio but if you do not like that feel free to choose a different variety.
- Put the salad in a bowl.
- Peel the pears and cut them into 8 sticks. Place them nicely onto the salad. Pour the dressing of lemon juice and olive oil on top of it. Give a few nice swings to your peper mill.
