Leek like you’ve never eaten it before. So soft, so flavorful, so perfect. Nice and long in the oven until it has become buttery soft. The crunchy panko with the special taste of lemon pepper. It’s the way to get the tastiest leeks on your plate.

Ingredients

  • 2 kilo leek

  • 150 ml olive oil

  • 1 package panko bread crumbs

  • 2 table spoon lemon pepper

  • salt and pepper

  • flat parsley

Cooking time

  • Cut the head and green leaf of the leek and place the whole leek in an oven dish. Place all the leeks next to each other. Two per person. Pour 100 ml olive oil over it and season with salt and pepper. Place in the oven at 200 degrees. Spoon the olive oil over the top of the leeks every 15 minutes and turn them in the oil as well.
  • Bake the panko with the 50 ml olive oil and the lemon pepper in a dry frying pan until crispy.
  • Finely chop the parsley leaves.
  • Before serving, place the leeks on a nice platter. Spoon the panko on top and sprinkle with the parsley.
