Dips, sauces, spreads. I love them. With vegetables, on a cracker, just like that… this is one of them. Delicious, surprising also because of the dried mint in it. You don’t expect that. If you do not know what’s in it of course.

Ingredients

  • 8 ripe tomatoes

  • 1 red onion

  • 7 cloves garlic

  • 0,5 tea spoon dried mint

  • 0,5 tea spoon chili flakes

  • 5 table spoon olive oil

  • salt and pepper

Cooking time

  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the finely chopped onion until lightly brown. Add the chopped garlic and fry for a while. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes and add them. Then turn the heat up a bit and let the liquid evaporate well and the sauce thickens. Add the dried mint, season with salt and pepper and enjoy.
