Snacking can be so good. And healthy, too. These fries are made from strips of parsnip. Very tasteful. Very crunchy. And of course full of flavour. Delicious as a side dish or just instead of a bowl of chips or nuts.

Ingredients

  • 3 parsnips

  • 200 ml sunflower oil

  • salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Peel the parsnips and slice them into strips with a vegetable peeler or cheese slicer.
    Meanwhile, heat a layer of sunflower oil in a frying pan. When it is hot, you can fry the parsnip strips until crispy in several portions. Let them drain on kitchen paper before serving. You can sprinkle some black pepper or chili flakes on top if you want.
