minutesRadicchio blood orange salad. Sometimes you know instantly that a dish will stay with you for a long time. The tastes, the juiciness, the combination of bitter and sweet and the picture perfect of course does the trick.
Ingredients
1 beautiful radicchio
3 blood oranges
6 branches dill
2 table spoons sumac
6 table spoons olive oil
2 table spoons pomegranate molasses
1 table spoon red wine vinegar
sea salt and freshly grinded black pepper
Directions
- Cut the radicchio into thin slices. Peel the oranges and make sure you do not add the white flesh into your salad. Cut the oranges in full round slices (see on the picture). Cut the dill.
- Make a dressing of olive oil, pomegranate molasses, red wine vinegar, sumac, salt and pepper.
Place the radicchio on a flat round platter. Place the orange slices in a circle. Pour over the dressing. And then sprinkle the dill over it all. Are you ready to make a great impression at the table? Go for it.
